supporter's trusts in italy? could it work?

I don't have a massive amount of time to write about this right now, but there is a project afoot to create a kind of Supporters' Trust for AS Roma and move towards partial or entire collective ownership.

You can read all about it here. Lots of Italians are sceptical as to whether it could ever work, but bearing in mind the socio model at Barça and Real, or the system at Bayern, not to mention the Supporters' Trust model in the UK, I don't see why not. Or that it's not worth trying.

I met the guy who is trying to set this up a couple of weeks ago and helped him out with the English part of the site.

Now, if you are interested, you can here more on the radio this evening, also available via the internet, and featuring... yours truly in an exciting radio debut.*

Now I just need to prepare something to say, especially since I am apparently the 'responsabile inglese del progetto'... erk.

* actual excitingness may vary.

Oh, that's very exciting, but 'responabile inglese del progetto' sounds like a lot of work. You're not without contacts in this area, though.

It will be fun to hear you on the radio...

I was NOT responsible for the adhesions, no. I shall ask for that to be changed.
