for those of you who read Italian
I can't commend too highly Gurrado's thoughts on Atalanta-Milan. If you don't read Italian, his blog is an excellent reason to start learning now.

Wow, thanks. You're definitely my favourite british Romanista.

Allow me to second Spangles' recommendation of Gurrado's piece.
Poetic, poignant, and perceptive, which is a bloody hard thing to pull off at the best of times, let alone in the confused aftermath of last Sunday, especially when one is surrounded by commentators falling over each other in a mad scramble to take advantage of a tragedy.
Bravissimo.
