"Let others complain that our age is evil; my complaint is that it is paltry. For it is without passion." (Kierkegaard, Either/Or, 1843)
Quite idyllic, especially from my vantage point in Milan, where it has been raining for two days and was 18 degrees this morning.Chia also tends not to attract Americans, as "our" automatic association with the word are these staples of late night adverts:http://www.jeiusa.com/chia.html
Randomly came across your blog after it was linked on a calcio forum.. Anyway a quick note to say keep up the good work, always a good read. Went to the rather drab derby in April, but might make up for that by making the Roma-Napoli game, hmm... Wasn't there riots last time out, and that was just in the Coppa? Was in Prague yesterday and came randomly found a pizzeria/bar called 'Giallorossa.' Quite a nice surprise, had some very cool memorabilia in there. And pizza. Now I'll stop rambling.
"quite idyllic" !! It looks like paradise to me. It's ermm raining here, and rather cool.
And to me, TT. Cool, drizzly, loads of dull work, screaming overtired children, screaming overtired parents, nobody ever pays me, my football team has managed to draw with Blackburn, I haven't had and won't get a holiday, and those photos just made me want to run away.
And I don't know how that happened, but it sums up my day.
I'm soooooo jealous darling! I'm the same as dlv; haven't had a sun holiday and won't have. It's been so cold in Hants whilst visiting argumentative family. (!) Am socialising madly in Somerset all week to make up for lack of sun and sand. Tess has a new pink leather collar! Love P xxxxxxxxxx
Welcome back, you and Totti!G.
Your captions: witty and descriptiveThose are lovely photo, Spangly. Nothing to be self-deprecating about.
