going away...

am heading off up to the wilds of the (hopefully) frozen north tomorrow for a week's skiing en famille. And am still packing and sorting work crises and suchlike. So no time to blog about the new Brigate Rosse, apparently being arrested & dismantled this week, and subject of some very interesting media treatment; about some exciting new career ideas not wholly unconnected to this blog; about an unexpectedly funny and hideously expensive trip to the gynaecologist; about Henry James' The Ambassadors; on a highly successful outing for the red patent slutty shoes; on the current debates over civil partnerships in Italy.

Sorry.

You could play a little game amongst yourselves, writing each of these 6 topics (BR, career, gynaecologist, Henry James, shoes, civil partnerships) onto a seperate piece of card.

Then write all the following onto pieces of card:

terrorism
impenetrable
peep-toe
football
cocktails
suspects
piercing
Catholicism
€120
magazine article
stockings
frightening
gay adoption
pay
moral obligation
tingly
European-ness
Berlusconi
painful
tipsy
outrageous

and now play lucky dip create-your-own spangly blog post! have fun, see you all on 25th or thereabouts for Roma-Reggina

The alleged terrorists have already been found guilty. By the right wingers, the left wingers, the unions, including CGIL, the one of which most of them (and myself) are members. I wonder why so much ado about a bunch of twats who so far have done nothing. In the meanwhile one of Berlusconi's trials has been reopened by the Corte di Cassazione, and this got only fifth position in the news. The former head of the secret police has been accused of having helped the USA secret services to illegally arrest suspected terrorists in Italy, fourth position.
Any connection?
