CL draw

here it is:

FC Porto v Chelsea
Celtic v AC Milan
PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal
Lille v Manchester United
Roma v Lyon
Barcelona v Liverpool
Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
Internazionale v Valencia

AAARGGGHHHH

so only Lyon, one of the best sides we could have drawn then. Gah! plus I'd been hoping for an away trip back to the UK, though not to Anfield, at least the hell has been avoided. but still.

Tricky one for Celtic... especially for those Bhoys with rossonero sympathies, I imagine. I imagine Man U fans are pretty happy though. Real- Bayern and Inter-Valencia are two good classic draws though.

Very tough draw for Roma but on the bright side Lyon always seem to hit the glass ceiling in the knockout rounds so who knows.

Excellent draw for the English sides though. You would imagine that at least 3 will get through.

As for the Celts it was always going to be tough no matter who we got. If the game was being played next week I'd have a wee bit of confidence but I have to think that Milan will be in much better shape by February.

you'd imagine so, wouldn't you? Still the Celts can scare anyone at home.

I'm pretty happy, though we did have a problem seeing Thun off last year, so not exactly confident. Don't know whether I'm glad or sorry we didn't draw Roma. Ah well, we can keep it for later maybe, when the stakes are higher.

Much as I would love it, I can't see Roma finding a way past Lyon. The Celtic v Milan tie is intriguing as the Rossoneri have been in pretty poor form across the board. However, I don't think six times winners could ever be called an easy draw.

I think Inter can cuff Valencia but it does look ominously like Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea will all make it through.

I must ay overall theres some mouth-atering ties there. Although supporting Sunderland I know I'll alays look at European football as an 'observer' lol.

I fancy Celtic to turn Milan over. They are so strong at Parkhead. And I just have the feeling in my water, especially as Milan have been poor since calciopoli. As fir the English sides, Manchester Utd for sure, alongside Chelsea and the Arse. Liverpool, unsure, althought their European form shall be encouraging for scousrs of the red-half
