.... es el mejor! (sorry PdM, more football content)

The Spanish football blog I read, Diarios de Futbol, describes our match yesterday thus:

I especially like "sin ninguna duda, mejor futbol practica en Italia." No other bugger may agree but it's made me happy.

Oh yeah, and Palermo lost, and Inter scraped a tedious 1-0 win. HA! we have the best defence and the joint top scoring attack in the league.

I like to think they only scored seven because they wanted Francesco to get his goal. Otherwise, they could have taken it easy after three or four...

I think one pundit I saw at the weekend summed it up well - Inter have the strongest team, Palermo have the most organised team but Roma have the BEST team...

Hey SP. football's a funny old game, as Greaves might say. Didn't see your defeat last night coming :/ Looking promising for the Scudetto, though? My teams are also-rans this year, I'm afraid, even Linfield, 5 behing the Glens, though the Boxing Day game which I'll be home for will be a corker...

Any word from J.?

So it's 2nd at best for Roma. So we'll need to win our group to get a chance of a visit to the Stadio Olimpico in the last 16.

Here's to a win for the Bhoys in Copenhagen then.
